Step into a dynamic, rewarding opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers an engaging chance to support young learners across 1-2 site locations. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve academic and personal milestones by addressing mild to moderate communication and language needs within an inclusive school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and relevant documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple school sites while managing a consistent caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the IEP team
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with state, federal, and local guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
  • Offer consultation and support to school staff and parents regarding speech and language development
  • Manage caseload efficiently across 1-2 elementary locations
