As you support a caseload spanning TK through 5th grade, you’ll have the opportunity to work with students in general education speech, Resource Specialist Program (RSP) settings, and Special Day Classrooms (SDC). With another knowledgeable SLP already on site, you’ll benefit from strong peer support while taking on new challenges and expanding your skills. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or current eligibility.
  • State licensure (or ability to obtain) in California.
  • Previous experience in school-based settings and SDC strongly preferred.
  • Ability to start as soon as possible; comfortable working with TK–5th grade caseloads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech/language therapy for students in speech, RSP, and SDC classrooms.
  • Collaborate with an on-site SLP and multidisciplinary team.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with families and staff.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to a positive school culture.
