Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFYs encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnose communication and language disorders, and interpret evaluation results
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide therapy using evidence-based strategies, adjusting plans as necessary
  • Document and report on student progress, participating in IEP meetings and team consultations
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to integrate therapeutic recommendations into the classroom
  • Support a positive, inclusive school culture while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
