School Psychologist | Mentor, Ohio

Make a difference in students’ lives by providing vital support and expertise as a contract School Psychologist at an elementary school serving grades 1–4. This full-time, in-person role is available immediately, continuing through June 1, 2027. You’ll partner with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to assess and support students with a wide range of disabilities and educational needs, ensuring each child’s academic and social success.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credential or the ability to obtain appropriate licensing
• Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
• Expertise in conducting psychological, behavioral, and educational assessments
• Strong skills in report writing, interpreting data, and developing recommendations
• Familiarity with special education compliance requirements and effective documentation practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, administrators, and other service providers
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Skilled at providing counseling, consultation, and behavioral intervention strategies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Develop, interpret, and present evaluation reports at IEP and multidisciplinary meetings
• Design, recommend, and monitor interventions to support student growth
• Deliver counseling and consultation services to students and staff, as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all services provided
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
