School Occupational Therapist | New London, New Hampshire

Embark on a rewarding opportunity to support student growth and development as a contracted Occupational Therapist. This role focuses on providing vital clinical supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) within a welcoming school environment. As part of a dynamic, collaborative setting, you’ll guide and mentor COTAs, ensuring the highest quality of therapeutic services for students.

Key Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in New Hampshire
• Demonstrated expertise in supervising COTAs, preferably within school settings
• Prior experience working in educational environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site clinical supervision to assigned COTAs within public schools
• Supervise up to two COTAs, providing approximately 7 hours per COTA monthly
• Complete timely and accurate documentation and any administrative requirements related to supervision
• Foster collaboration with district staff to support service delivery and compliance standards
• Maintain regular presence on campus to ensure thorough oversight and mentoring

Role Details

• Contract position: Up to 20 hours per month per Occupational Therapist
• Two positions available
• On-site supervision required
• Travel reimbursement is provided at the applicable IRS mileage rate for travel to and from the school campus
