Job Description

Step into a dynamic environment supporting students across K-12 levels for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young learners by providing critical speech and language services. Collaborate with dedicated staff and engage directly with students, utilizing a range of specialized skills within the Special Education setting. No virtual work is included in this role, ensuring you remain connected to your students and colleagues in a traditional in-person setting.

Ideal candidates will bring a passion for supporting diverse student needs and possess expertise in areas such as:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, and healthcare environments is highly valued
  • Previous work delivering speech-language services to K-12 populations
  • Strong clinical fellowship year experience (if applicable)
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language support to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
  • Document progress and participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Provide guidance and support to students in the educational environment
