This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a significant impact in a K-12 educational setting near Fairport, NY. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work onsite with a dynamic group of educators and students, contributing to a positive, supportive school environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting student success through a variety of engaging and meaningful activities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid NY State School Psychologist Certification (required)
  • Experience with K-12 populations
  • Proficiency in conducting initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and counseling
  • Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and testing protocols
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply (a plus, but not required)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive initial and re-evaluations for students across K-12 grades
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families within the MTSS framework to interpret assessment data and design interventions
  • Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies
  • Document all evaluations, counseling sessions, and communication according to school and district guidelines
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding students’ behavioral and learning needs

This role is a full-time, onsite position for 37.5 hours per week and offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the school community while expanding your professional experience in both CSY/NSY contexts.
