School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Olathe, Kansas

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure for the state of Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs will be considered
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a K-12 environment
• Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and progress reporting
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with educators, families, and students
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success in the classroom
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state standards
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations as needed
• Offer consultation and support to families on ways to aid student progress at home
