Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a School Psychologist serving grades 6-12 in the vibrant area surrounding Scottsville, NY. Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid New York State (NYS) Certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology
  • Previous experience working with adolescents, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in conducting psychometric assessments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including testing and diagnostic examinations
  • Provide therapy and counseling services for students in grades 6-12
  • Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for student support
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective learning strategies and intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports aligned with New York state guidelines
