Job Description

Make an immediate impact supporting students in grades 5 through 8 with a role dedicated to enhancing communication skills and unlocking potential. A contract opportunity is available for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to serve a caseload of 20 to 30 students with a variety of needs, including Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Speech or Language Impairments (SLI), and Autism.

This flexible position is ideal for professionals seeking part-time work in a collaborative educational environment. You’ll spend two days each week on site—your choice of days Monday through Friday—providing direct therapy and completing comprehensive evaluations. Each workday runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, ensuring a consistent and structured schedule.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs), documentation practices, and state special education regulations
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to students in grades 5–8 with diverse communication needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ goals
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
