Job Description

Make a real impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students from early learners in Pre-K and Kindergarten to high schoolers in grades 9–12. This contract opportunity is in a lively school environment, providing critical speech and language services in person, Monday through Friday, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students across a diverse caseload, including various disabilities and communication needs.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments tailored to individual student requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct services—both individual and group therapy—in alignment with student IEPs.
  • Monitor student progress through accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, special education staff, and additional related service professionals.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering insights on goal setting and progress monitoring.

Qualifications Sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Current state licensure/credential required for school-based practice.
  • Proven school-based SLP experience, ideally with both early childhood and high school populations.
  • Confidence in supporting students with a wide range of speech/language disabilities.
  • Strong assessment, therapy, and communication documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collegially and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.
