Per Diem Outpatient Retail Pharmacist - Independence, Missouri

A healthcare facility in Independence, MO, is seeking a per diem pharmacist to provide coverage in a closed-door retail pharmacy associated with a clinic. This role supports outpatient and retail pharmacy services with a focus on verifying prescriptions efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Location: Independence, MO
Schedule:

• Tuesdays and additional days as needed
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No weekends required

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense approximately 200 prescriptions daily
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians for workflow support
• Utilize pharmacy management systems such as ScriptPro (preferred)
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to prescription verification and immunizations

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Certified Immunizer
• Submission of Notice of Intent (NOI) to administer vaccines or medications by prescription, as required by Missouri Board of Pharmacy regulations
