Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary-aged students and help shape communication skills in a bilingual setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 9, 2027. Work closely with a dedicated team to deliver in-person speech and language services within a diverse and engaging school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency strongly preferred
  • In-person availability; remote options are not available
  • Ability to provide services to a caseload of approximately 50-60 students
  • 7-hour workdays, totaling 35 paid hours per week (lunch break not included)
  • For non-credentialed SLPs:
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (US or approved foreign equivalency)
    • California SLP license
    • Certificate of Clearance (COC) posted on the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website
    • Current TB clearance and Livescan clearance (completed with district form)
  • For credentialed SLPs:
    • Valid credential posted on the CTC website
    • Current TB clearance and Livescan clearance (completed with district form)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Customize approaches for bilingual and culturally diverse student populations
