Advance your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist working within dynamic school settings located near Palm Desert, CA! This full-time contract opportunity offers two distinct placements to suit your experience and interests. You’ll play a valuable role in supporting students’ communication skills and overall academic achievement, all within collaborative educational environments.

Position Details:

  • Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
  • Two SLP opportunities available:
    • Position 1: Oversee a high school caseload, joining an existing SLP and handling overflow cases for a manageable workload.
    • Position 2: Serve a split caseload between high school and middle school, offering variety and the chance to make a difference with students of different ages.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active California SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred but not required
  • Passion for working with adolescents and diverse student populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP and team meetings
  • Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment
