Step into a rewarding role supporting student well-being and academic success as a school psychologist for a K-12 district. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant learning community serving 720 students, 150 of whom have IEPs. Begin your assignment with summer hours before the school year officially starts on September 2nd, allowing time to become familiar with the school and its students. This role starts ASAP, and interviews are being scheduled this week!

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with K-12 populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Commitment to supporting inclusive, positive school climates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students
  • Write clear, actionable evaluation reports and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine student eligibility and develop IEPs
  • Consult with staff and families to support social-emotional, behavioral, and learning needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Assist with crisis intervention, behavior management, and the development of school-wide supports
