Elevate your expertise by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a well-established educational setting. This flexible, contract opportunity near beautiful Novato, CA, allows you to collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and positively impact the communication development of diverse student populations.

Candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are sought to provide specialized services and guidance within a school environment, working alongside educators, administrators, and families toward student success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to varied student needs
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and maintaining up-to-date documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
  • Provide therapy sessions individually or in small groups to address students’ unique goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress and communicate updates to teachers, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in interdisciplinary team planning
  • Offer guidance and resources to parents and educators regarding communication development
