Job Description

Transform lives and empower communication skills by providing individualized speech-language therapy for a student in their home setting. You’ll have the opportunity to deliver meaningful interventions in a supportive and focused environment, making a direct impact each week. This contract position involves conducting two 45-minute sessions per week with a student whose unique needs require compassionate, skilled care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience in pediatric settings, especially within schools or home-based therapy
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, customized therapy plans for students
  • Must be fully vaccinated to protect the health of an immunocompromised student
  • Strong communication, organizational, and family collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to a student twice weekly (two 45-minute sessions) in the student’s home
  • Assess speech, language, and communication abilities using a variety of assessment tools
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the student’s specific needs
  • Collaborate with families to support the student’s progress and provide guidance for speech practice outside therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and communicate regularly with support staff
