Temporary September Assignment | Monday-Friday Schedule

Are you a licensed Wisconsin Pharmacist looking for a flexible short-term opportunity? We are seeking a PRN Pharmacist to provide coverage during a medical leave at an established on-site pharmacy serving residents of a large assisted living community just outside Milwaukee.

This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists seeking supplemental work, a temporary assignment, or a consistent weekday schedule without nights or weekends.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Choose from:
  • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• September coverage assignment
• Start and end dates are somewhat flexible

What You'll Do

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety
• Perform prescription final verification
• Data entry and order review
• Support pharmacy operations with a strong technician team
• Provide limited patient counseling as needed
• Assist with opening or closing responsibilities depending on assigned shift

Pharmacy Environment

• On-site pharmacy serving assisted living residents
• Rx30 pharmacy software
• Training shifts provided before coverage begins
• Staffed with 1 Pharmacist and 4 Pharmacy Technicians per shift
• Prescription volume of approximately 20-30 prescriptions daily plus electronic verification responsibilities

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist (RPh) license in good standing
• Retail, outpatient, long-term care, or community pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Open to new graduates
