Warehouse Pharmacist – 6-Month Contract

Itasca, IL | Monday–Friday | 10:30 AM–7:00 PM

A pharmacy is seeking Pharmacists to support warehouse operations on a 6-month contract. This role focuses on medication inventory, distribution, compliance, and supporting pharmacy operations.

Requirements
Active, clear Illinois Pharmacist License
Some knowledge of IV medications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities
Oversee receipt, storage, inventory, and distribution of medications
Ensure proper storage conditions and regulatory compliance
Verify medication orders before preparation or shipment
Supervise pharmacy technicians involved in warehouse operations
Coordinate with sterile compounding teams to support patient orders
Manage controlled substance inventory and required documentation
Perform inventory reconciliation and quality assurance audits
Work with purchasing, nursing, and operations teams to ensure timely medication delivery
