Machinery Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift | $52K–$73K/year | Berlin, CT

We are seeking an experienced Machinery Maintenance Technician to join a team in Berlin, CT. This position is ideal for someone with experience in industrial maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.

As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to support production operations and ensure machines continue running safely and efficiently.

Location: Berlin, CT
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $52,000-$73,000/year DOE

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with equipment repairs
• Conduct inspections of equipment, fluid levels, water flows, filters, quench oils, and related systems
• Support equipment performance testing and maintenance procedures
• Complete repairs, adjustments, and modifications to keep equipment operating efficiently
• Document completed maintenance, repairs, and equipment updates
• Maintain organized tools, parts, and maintenance areas
• Review equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Identify equipment concerns and recommend improvements to increase reliability and safety
• Assist with facility maintenance and operational support as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous industrial maintenance or machine maintenance experience preferred
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment and production machinery
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documents
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety

Additional Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift, bend, pull, stoop, and perform physical maintenance tasks
• Must be able to safely operate company vehicles as needed
