Medical Front Desk/MA

We are a busy highly specialized boutique style reproductive endocrinologist and surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery office in Sandy Springs, GA, seeking an experienced Front Office Receptionist who is professional, friendly, and organized. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a long-term career in women’s healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients with warmth and professionalism
• Schedule appointments and manage phone calls
• Verify insurance and collect patient information
• Ensure all appropriate paperwork is completed and signed upon check in
• Download labs, process refill requests, and answer email inquiries
• Maintain organized front desk operations
• Ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced environment
• Triage phone calls and take messages
• Order labs
• Call patients to review results and communicate with patients under the doctors supervision

Qualifications:

• Previous medical office experience required (OB/GYN or specialty preferred)
• Knowledge of insurance verification and scheduling systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Capability of learning paper charts and EMR systems interchangeably
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be dependable and seeking long-term employment
• Medical assistant experience 1-3 years or more ideal
