Discover a fulfilling contract opportunity that allows you to make a real difference in the lives of students. As a School Psychologist in a supportive educational setting, you'll collaborate with staff, families, and community resources to promote student well-being and success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possession of a valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Recent experience in school psychology, preferably within K-12 environments
  • Strong ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with students, faculty, and parents
  • Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and 504 plans
  • Commitment to cultural responsiveness and advocacy for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological assessments for referred students
  • Provide counseling, intervention, and support for students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
  • Offer crisis intervention and consult on behavioral management strategies
  • Promote positive school climate and mental health awareness
