Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated school psychologist in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity allows you to offer your expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and collaboration—playing a key role in students’ academic and social success. You’ll work closely with educators, parents, and staff to create positive learning experiences and support whole-child well-being.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as required by state guidelines)
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations, writing reports, and developing recommendations
  • Knowledgeable about IEP development, RTI/MTSS processes, and special education services
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with students, staff, and families
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to determine academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Offer consultation, intervention, and crisis support to teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Provide short-term counseling and skill-building to students in need of additional support
  • Help foster inclusive, supportive school environments that promote mental wellness and student achievement
  • Maintain thorough documentation, participate in meetings, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
