Licensed Independent Social Worker

Just Believe Life Enhancement is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our behavioral health team in Cleveland. You will provide outpatient mental health counseling and psychotherapy to adults, teens, and children. In this role, you will perform clinical assessments, diagnose conditions, and deliver evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. We need a clinician dedicated to patient care, community advocacy, and personalized wellness plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments to determine client mental health needs and social support options.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to specific client goals.
• Provide individual therapy, family counseling, child therapy, and group therapy sessions.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using DSM-5 guidelines and clinical interventions.
• Offer crisis intervention and supportive counseling during urgent client situations.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans based on treatment outcomes.
• Complete accurate electronic health record documentation following HIPAA and state regulations.
• Coordinate client care with psychiatrists, doctors, schools, and local agencies.
• Connect clients with community resources for housing, financial support, and healthcare.
• Advocate for patient needs while maintaining clear professional boundaries and ethics.
• Consult with interdisciplinary clinical teams to review cases and care strategies.
• Educate clients and families on coping skills, wellness habits, and mental health tools.
• Participate in program development, clinical supervision, and team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work degree from an accredited university program.
• Active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LISW, LSW, or equivalent behavioral health credential in Ohio.
• Experience in outpatient mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or clinical social work.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic procedures, trauma therapy, and cognitive behavioral methods.
• Skill in managing anxiety, depression, child development issues, and PTSD treatment.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and local community resources.
• Strong communication skills and background with electronic health records software.
