Qualifications
  • Current Ohio Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) required

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 2 years of post-independent licensure clinical experience preferred

  • Experience treating individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders

  • Experience providing clinical supervision preferred

  • Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and evidence-based treatment practices

  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR)

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

  • Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients receiving substance use disorder treatment.

  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, clinical documentation, and discharge planning.

  • Provide clinical supervision to social workers pursuing independent licensure in accordance with Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, CARF, and organizational standards.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, peer support specialists, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.

  • Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.

  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical needs.

  • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.

  • Mentor and support clinical staff through training, coaching, and performance feedback.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience
  • Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment

  • Detoxification, Residential, PHP, or Outpatient behavioral health settings

  • Trauma-informed care

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Dual-diagnosis treatment

  • Clinical supervision and staff development
