Job Description
You arrive at your assembly cell ready to support the plant’s daily assembly operations. You review operator instructions for secondary operations, check your gauges, and start up the equipment. Throughout the shift, you run multiple assembly machines, verify quality against the Control Plan and Quality check sheet, keep the area organized with 5S, and keep pace with a fast-moving automotive line. When you spot something off, you notify the Team Leader or Supervisor, document it, and keep production flowing. Before wrap-up, you complete production reports, PPLH, scrap reports, and the 5S housekeeping sheet, then scan and print SAP product labels so the next process is set up for success.
Core responsibilities- Operate a variety of assembly machinery within secondary operations following operator instructions.

- Inspect parts visually and with gauges per the Control Plan and Quality check sheet.
- Own the quality of all production parts produced in your work cell; promptly report defects to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; practice 5S consistently.

- Scan and print SAP product labels; use SAP handheld scanners and related printers.
- Serve as a wastewater handler upon completion of the required environmental training.
- Support the company’s goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Production Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Comfort using a computer and common workplace equipment such as SAP handheld scanners, calculators, and printers.
