Maintenance Director

CareCore at Heritage is looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our skilled nursing facility. If you have healthcare maintenance experience, a strong understanding of life safety standards, and take pride in keeping a facility safe and operating at its best, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day maintenance operations for the facility

• Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, CMS, and state regulations

• Perform preventative maintenance and manage work order completion

• Coordinate inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire safety, emergency power, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Prepare for and participate in state surveys and Life Safety inspections

• Manage outside vendors and service contractors

• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and regulatory documentation

• Assist with budgeting, inventory, and purchasing of maintenance supplies

• Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting required

• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, healthcare regulations, and facility compliance

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance

• Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
