Civil Designer / CADD Technician

Location: Lexington, KY
Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer / CADD Technician with 5+ years of AutoCAD experience and a strong background in civil site design. The ideal candidate will have experience developing site plans and drafting stormwater systems for a variety of project types.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and modify civil site plans using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
  • Prepare site layouts for commercial, residential, industrial, and similar developments.
  • Draft stormwater systems, including piping and site drainage plans.
  • Support sitework and earthwork planning.
  • Prepare earthwork quantity calculations and volume estimates.
  • Contribute to projects involving industrial, municipal, business park, and industrial park developments.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional AutoCAD experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
  • Demonstrated experience with civil site planning.
  • Strong experience with stormwater drafting and site drainage.
  • Knowledge of earthwork planning and quantity calculations is a plus.
  • Experience with industrial or municipal development projects is preferred.
Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid flexibility with the option to work remotely one day per week.
