Infant Toddler Preschool Teacher

The Infant Toddler Preschool Teacher plays a vital role in fostering early childhood development through a combination of child-led play and structured curriculum. Working within a team that includes both an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher, this position is responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment tailored to the needs of infants and toddlers, emphasizing classroom management, behavior guidance, and effective communication with parents.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom environment to support learning and safety
• Assess child development and progress regularly
• Communicate occasionally with parents regarding child growth and classroom activities
• Provide behavior guidance to support positive social and emotional development
• Plan lessons incorporating both child-led play and structured curriculum
• Collaborate effectively with teaching team members

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in early childhood education

Preferred Qualifications

• Preschool teacher with 12 EC units including infant/toddler units
• Knowledge of child development principles
• Strong classroom management skills
• Health and safety compliance expertise
