Infant, Toddler, Preschool Teachers

We are seeking employees who are energetic and enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and Preschoolers. This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age appropriate lesson plans for assigned age group
• Assist children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Child Development Permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing recommended.
• Must be able to pass a background check and child abuse index clearance
• At least 12 units in child development from a California-accredited college. Three of the 12 units must be Infant/Toddler training if you are applying to work with Infant/Toddlers
• CPR/First Aid certified
• Previous experience working in a childcare center
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with other staff, children, and families
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Work well as a part of a team
