Set Up Technician

We are seeking an experienced Set Up Technician to join our Injection Molding department. In this role, you will perform mold changes, machine setups, and inspections to ensure molds are maintained and production-ready. You will work as part of a dedicated setup team, coordinating mold repairs with the maintenance department, and supporting smooth and efficient production on regular shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes and machine setups according to production schedules
• Prepare, clean, inspect, and store molds properly
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move molds safely
• Troubleshoot mold setup and production issues
• Perform basic mold maintenance and lubrication
• Complete setup documentation and production paperwork
• Inspect molds for wear or damage and coordinate repairs with maintenance team
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE
• Meet production, quality, and attendance expectations

Required Qualifications

• Experience performing mold changes in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read work instructions and complete production documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in injection molding mold setup or process technician role
• Forklift and overhead crane experience
