Commercial Construction Superintendent

Design Build General Contractor is looking for an experienced superintendent to start immediately on a public project in Washington County, MD. The project is a 13000 sf building renovation project, which has to be completed while the existing building is in operation.

The project superintendent will be the company’s main person onsite in charge of the project and will be responsible for maintaining the project schedule, supervising all subcontractor personnel and in-house crews, enforcing jobsite safety procedures, and coordinating project and work quality control. Will work closely with the office project manager regarding technical and contract management issues. Candidate must have good communication skills in dealing with client representatives, architects, inspectors, subcontractors, and workers on-site.

Experience and candidate qualifications:

• Must have 8+ years of field experience in supervising public and private commercial construction projects.

• Must have the knowledge, skills, and experience with overall building construction trades

• Candidate must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, in maintaining project documentation, daily reports, inspection logs, delivery tickets, and coordinate with the office project manager in monitoring the progress on the project.
