2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday

Position
As a maintenance technician you will be responsible for the facilities and manufacturing equipment making sure it operates at utmost potential and are maintained to ensure maximum availability.
What you will do:
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to a defined schedule and maintain preventative maintenance instructions.
- Troubleshoot electrical & controls issues with equipment and SCADA system.
- Work with production scheduling when maintaining facilities/equipment to ensure production impact is minimized.
- Ensure that all SEKISUI equipment and facilities are 100% compliant to standard safety practices and regulatory organizations (OSHA, ANSI, UL, NFPA), customer processing spec (BAC, RPS) qualification requirements, and aerospace industry accredited organization (nadcap, ncamp) requirements.
- Coordinate work activities with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
- Provide accurate time estimates to production management on maintenance functions.
- Ensure maintenance spares inventory is maintained at minimum levels and spares are reordered as they are consumed.
- Install, relocate, facilitate and startup equipment as required.
What you will need to be successful:
- Ability to climb ladders, operate hand & power tools, drive forklift, assemble heavy mechanisms
- Physical Demands include standing, sitting, lifting, bending, and climbing throughout shift.
- Flexibility to alter work schedule including nights, weekends, and on call as needed.
- Able to work independently without direct supervision.
Working Conditions
While performing the typical duties of this job, employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
- Exposure to hazardous equipment
- Exposure to contaminants
- Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled
- Shared workspaces with other employees
- Requires handling objects of up to 30 lbs.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending
- Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime)
Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure. Below are typical PPE used on the production floor. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
- Ear Plugs - Earmuffs
- Full Face Shield
- Gloves (Latex, Rubber, Chemical Resistant, General Duty)
- Protective Apron
- Respirator
- Safety Glasses - Safety Goggles
