Rivertown Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an RN with strong clinical and leadership skills who is passionate about providing exceptional care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit, mentor nursing staff, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit.

• Supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate clinical interventions.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident care planning.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.

• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness.

• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional resident care.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long term care, or subacute care preferred.

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to lead a team while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.
