Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant supports the Physical Therapist in delivering effective rehabilitation care to a diverse patient population. Working within a medium-sized team, the assistant performs patient care tasks, therapeutic exercises, and assessments, contributing to treatment planning and documentation without travel requirements. This role demands strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and function
• Perform patient assessments to monitor progress
• Contribute to treatment planning based on patient needs
• Document patient progress and therapy sessions accurately

Required Qualifications

• Experience in patient care and therapeutic exercise
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques
• Ability to conduct patient assessments
• Proficiency in medical documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Effective time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
