Manufacturing - Carpenter Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Read production drawings; perform QC checks to ensure proper mold setup / dimensions are correctCut and fit core materials (wood / foam) to specificationsSafely operate all tools and machineryMaintains tools, equipment and work areaSolid experience with use of basic hand and power toolsAble to read tape measure and perform basic math and fraction conversionsPhysically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periodsAble to pass a forklift drivers test and safely operate a forkliftMust be able to arrive on time and work a full shift with minimal absenteeismOther duties as assignedBenefits:2 weeks of vacation 1st through 4th year; 3 weeks of vacation after 4th yearClosed between Christmas and New Years with pay3 Personal days per yearBereavement leave availableCompany paid health, vision, dental, life, and long-term disability; Additional policies availableRetirement plan with significant company contributionsCompany pays 50% of employee uniformsAnnual bonus plan and a sign-on bonus of $1,500 after 90 daysBackground check and drug screen is required.
