Retail Sales Associate

Our company is a specialty retailer of first responder uniforms and accessories. We are a growing business that provides every customer with the best products and services so they can have one less worry. Due to high growth, we have a unique opportunity for a dynamic and organized individual to become a vital part of our team.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years retail experience
• High School diploma. Additional education a plus

Skills Required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions, and handle customer needs.
• Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks.
• Flexibility to help them adjust to new tasks should company or office needs change.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees and customers.
• Attention to detail to ensure projects are completed thoroughly and correctly.
• Ability to lift, carry and manage 20-pound items as well as physical stamina for fast paced work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and retail merchandising
• Proficiency with available tools and technology including but not limited to Excel, Microsoft Office suite,
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer skills, MS Word, and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn custom programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Collaborate with other team members in house.
• Deliver excellent shopping experience, manage inventory effectively.
• Verify accuracy of opening and closing procedures, cashiering, stockroom operations and all other functions related to store operations.
• Resolve store level customer service issues within 24 hours and escalate as necessary for resolution.
• Sustain a high professional standard in individual behavior, courtesy, and respect.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour depending on experience and education.

Expected hours: 40 per week.
