Retail Sales Associate

Sales Associate duties include:

• Greeting customers and helping them find items in the store
• Shopping with the customer, making recommendations, and demonstrating or describing your recommendation
• Answering customer questions and maintaining a welcoming and friendly space
• Interacting with children and creating a fun experience for them while their caregivers shop
• Building lasting relationships with customers
• Seeking product knowledge to build your expertise
• Ringing up purchases
• Wrapping gifts
• Restocking shelves and tidying sections
• Cleaning and maintaining an orderly storefront
• Processing and shipping web orders

We're looking for people who:

• Have excellent communication skills. You must be able to interact with the children in our store as well as adults
• Can spend your entire shift on your feet and moving around; can lift up to 30 lbs
• Have social media savvy to help keep our accounts active and fun!
• Are comfortable learning our computer system and entering data
• Are upbeat, confident, and enthusiastic
• Are curious and eager to learn about our products
• Are self-motivated
• Have experience with merchandising and creating displays
• Have experience with young children and early childhood education
• Have experience in a customer-focused small business
