Position Summary

The Warehouse Specialist I is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order picking, staging, inventory replenishment, shipping, receiving, returns processing, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized distribution center. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, prepare, palletize, and stage customer orders for shipment.
  • Count and verify staged orders to ensure shipment accuracy.
  • Replenish warehouse picking locations and maintain inventory organization.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and perform basic equipment maintenance, including battery charging and watering.
  • Load and unload trailers following company safety procedures.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify product accuracy, and stock inventory in designated locations.
  • Process customer returns, inspect returned products, complete required documentation, and prepare customer credits.
  • Pick, verify, overpack, consolidate, and process parcel shipments as needed.
  • Utilize carrier systems and shipping software to process outbound shipments.
  • Audit international shipping documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain warehouse documentation and prepare records for filing.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding warehouse operations and returns processing.
  • Follow all company policies, GMP standards, FDA guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform general housekeeping and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Safety, 5S, and Lean programs.
  • Work overtime when required to meet shipping and operational goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
  • Current Forklift Certification is required (Stand-up Forklift experience preferred).
  • Electric pallet jack certification is a plus.
  • Basic math skills and strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Oracle experience is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the assignment.
  • No employment visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and forklifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular standing, walking, lifting, and communication throughout the workday.

Travel

  • Less than 5% travel may be required.
