We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our firm. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support in family law cases, ensuring smooth case progression from initial client intake through to resolution/trial. Your proactive approach, organizational skills, and diligence will help facilitate efficient case management and exceptional client service. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorney with all stages of family law litigation and mediation cases.
  • Speak with clients to collect information and documentation.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, declarations, discovery requests, and settlement agreements with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage case files using document management systems.
  • Prepare files for court appearances.
  • Communicate with current clients, potential clients, opposing counsel and the courts, via phone and written correspondence.
  • Support administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendar deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal experience with a background in family law.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience software such as Clio, Essential Forms, Adobe, Word. etc., is a preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating professionalism at all times.

Annual salary varies from $60,000-$85,000, depending on experience.
