Licensed Insurance Sales Representative – Base Salary + Commission
Are you a motivated salesperson who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, and helping customers make good decisions?
Our successful State Farm agency is looking for a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. This is an in-office, Monday–Friday sales position for someone who enjoys working toward goals and wants the opportunity to increase their income through performance.
You'll work with both current customers and new prospects to identify insurance needs, explain coverage options, and recommend appropriate State Farm products and services.
What You'll Do
- Talk with prospective and existing customers about their insurance needs
- Develop leads and follow up with prospective customers
- Schedule appointments and conduct insurance reviews
- Recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage
- Build relationships that lead to new business and customer retention
- Work toward individual and team sales goals
- Provide a professional and positive customer experience
- Maintain accurate and timely customer records and follow-up

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, competitive, and comfortable asking for the sale.
The right person will have:
- Sales experience and a demonstrated ability to meet goals
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Confidence speaking with customers by phone and in person
- Good organizational and follow-up skills
- Attention to detail and pride in doing work accurately
- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve
- Reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Previous State Farm or insurance sales experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Licensing
This position requires:
- Texas Property & Casualty license
- Texas Life & Health license
Insurance licensing is required for this position. Already licensed candidates are preferred; however, we may consider a strong sales candidate who is willing and able to obtain the required Texas Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
Team members are expected to maintain all required licenses and stay current on product changes, technical developments, training, and continuing education requirements.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
This is an in-office position.
