Columbus, GA
1099 Independent Contractor | Field-Based | Flexible Weekdays

About the Opportunity

B4i Management LLC is looking for a reliable, organized, and independent Field Compliance Agent to support court-related and field operations in the Columbus, GA area.

This is a 100% field-based independent contractor opportunity, ideal for someone who has weekday daytime availability, enjoys working independently, and is comfortable driving to courts, government offices, and properties to complete assigned tasks.

Previous experience with courts or evictions is helpful, but not required. We are open to candidates with transferable experience in legal support, administration, property management, government processes, field services, or similar work.

What You'll Do

Your assignments may include:

  • Visit Magistrate Courts to file dispossessory paperwork.
  • Attend scheduled court hearings and present required documentation.
  • Retrieve Writs of Possession and coordinate scheduling with Sheriff's Offices.
  • Perform property vacancy checks and take required photos.
  • File dismissals or police complaints when instructed.
  • Provide timely updates and documentation after completing assignments.
  • Manage multiple assignments during the same trip or day when needed.

B4i provides established procedures for assigned tasks. You will be expected to follow those procedures accurately and communicate when a situation requires additional guidance.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Live in or near Columbus, GA / Muscogee County.
  • Reliable personal vehicle.
  • Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Smartphone with camera and internet access.
  • Strong functional English.
  • Reliable weekday availability during court hours, generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, when assignments are scheduled.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
  • Comfortable driving and working in the field.
  • Ability to meet B4i's background screening requirements.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Process server or court runner experience.
  • Paralegal or legal support experience.
  • Property management experience.
  • Government or administrative experience.
  • Field service or inspection experience.
  • Familiarity with Magistrate Courts or dispossessory processes.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Schedule

This is not a fixed 8-to-5 schedule.

Work is assigned based on operational needs, and the volume may vary. However, you must have flexibility to complete assignments during weekday court hours.

This opportunity may be particularly compatible with candidates who have flexible daytime schedules, evening/weekend employment, advanced college schedules, or other commitments that allow weekday availability.

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with task-based compensation, not an hourly or salaried role.

B4i currently estimates that projected assignment volume may generate approximately:

First month: ~$2,500
Following months: ~$2,000/month

Actual earnings depend on the number and type of assignments completed. These amounts are estimates and are not guaranteed minimum earnings.

Compensation is based on a combination of travel and completed task fees. Full compensation details will be explained during the screening process.

Official court, filing, and Writ of Possession fees are separate from contractor compensation and are reimbursed or prepaid according to B4i procedures.

Travel

Most assignments are expected to be in Columbus and Muscogee County, with occasional travel to surrounding areas such as LaGrange, Griffin, Atlanta, or other courts as operationally required.

Candidates must be comfortable with local driving and occasional longer-distance assignments.
