LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist at our manufacturing client headquarters in the Philadelphia Metro area. Candidate is required to have Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker.

Legal Billing Assistant - temp (to perm, possible)

Position Summary:

The Legal Billing Assistant will provide comprehensive support for ongoing legal work in our Corporate Law Department. He/she is expected to work independently as well as in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

• Create, organize, and maintain confidential files of correspondence and transmittals, and file database

• Process invoices in e-billing system (Serengeti, Legal Tracker) and maintain files regarding services provided by outside counsel

• Perform clerical duties including filing, photocopying, mailing, ordering office supplies, proofreading and database maintenance with great attention and detail

• Provide support and backup to activities of department paralegals

• Other duties may be assigned

Education/Experience Requirements and Preferences:

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience

• Paralegal Certificate preferred

• Notary Public certification

Other Required Skills and Abilities:

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Basic understanding of legal terminology and legal forms

• Basic familiarity with Internet and Internet research

• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker

• Must be highly organized, articulate, team-oriented, and able to multitask

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, corporate policies, or governmental regulations

• Ability to write reports and business correspondence and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
