Work Schedule: Partially remote, partially in-office, high travel required (regional and national); reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required
About the Role
The Specialist, Platform Innovation - Launch is responsible for onboarding restaurant merchants to platform products and enhancing their experience throughout the lifecycle. This role engages in direct merchant interaction, hands-on training at merchant sites, and cross-functional collaboration across sales, account management, operations, product, and analytics teams. The role also includes creating and executing onboarding strategies, developing training materials, overseeing digital ordering and SaaS implementation, and seeking opportunities for workflow improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Directly interface with merchant restaurants to enhance onboarding and utilization
- Create and execute strategic onboarding plans for a seamless merchant experience
- Train merchant staff onsite, develop and deliver training materials
- Learn platform configuration and oversee implementation of digital/SaaS solutions
- Identify and recommend workflow improvements to maximize merchant adoption and revenue
- Operate proactively and adapt in an evolving environment
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support merchant success
- Travel frequently to merchant sites within region and nationally
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years in restaurant/bar management, hospitality, or customer support
- Highly detail-oriented, able to complete tasks accurately and on time
- Excellent external and internal customer support skills
- Experience collaborating across departments
- Proactive and deeply engaged in operational detail
- Technical aptitude, curiosity, and basic experience with POS systems integration during management tenure
- Spanish language skills are an asset
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required; high mobility and flexibility for frequent travel
