RN, Operating Room

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to provide exceptional care in our operating room. This role offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts
• Call required: approximately three weeknights per month (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and one weekend day per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities

• Perform the role of Circulating Nurse while acting as a patient advocate for anesthetized patients.
• Provide safe and effective care to surgical patients, addressing their physiological and functional needs.
• Interact with a diverse patient population including prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric individuals.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, adapting communication to the individual's intellectual level and physical ability.

Requirements

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• One (1) to three (3) years of Operating Room experience
