Job Title: Production Line Filling Machine Operator

Job Description

This role focuses on operating filling and capping equipment to accurately fill products into various bottle sizes in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will handle physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and packaging while maintaining strict attention to detail and documenting production activities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate filling machines to accurately fill product into different sizes of bottles according to work orders and production specifications.
  • Cap bottles securely and ensure proper sealing and closure for all filled products.
  • Label bottles and packaging materials correctly, following established production and regulatory standards.
  • Follow batch and compound instructions to support the filling and mixing processes as required.
  • Perform general labor tasks on the production line, including loading materials, organizing product, and assisting with packaging.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to differentiate between similar products and ensure correct filling, labeling, and packaging.
  • Document production activities, including quantities, batch information, and any issues or deviations, in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment to meet daily output and quality targets.
  • Adhere to all food manufacturing and FDA clean room procedures, including hygiene, safety, and equipment operation protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to keep the production line running smoothly and resolve minor issues with machinery or workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area within the manufacturing warehouse and clean room.

Work Environment

1st Shift 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

2nd Shift 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oxnard, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
