Job Description

This role involves working on a high-volume production line to support packaging, material handling, and general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment. You will contribute to efficient daily operations by packaging pipe at the end of the line, assisting with production activities, and learning to operate forklifts and other machinery as needed.

Responsibilities

• Package pipe at the end of the production line according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Perform general labor and production duties, including material handling, cleaning, and basic line support.
• Assist with operating machines along the production line after receiving proper training.
• Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials safely when required.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet productivity expectations while maintaining attention to detail and product quality.
• Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support smooth production flow.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing production needs.

Work Environment

The role is based in a typical manufacturing facility where conditions can be a bit dirty and are not climate controlled, though overall the environment is manageable and not extreme. Day shift runs Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., totaling approximately 48 hours per week. Night shift runs Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., also totaling about 48 hours per week. You will work around production lines, forklifts, and various machinery, following safety protocols and wearing appropriate work attire suitable for an industrial, hands-on setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lemont Furnace, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Lemont Furnace,PA.
