This includes system installation, startup, and ensuring the homeowner has a clear understanding of their new system.You'll play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence while supporting and mentoring install helpers to grow within the trade.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete residential retrofit HVAC installations with quality and efficiencyInstall AC, furnace, and water heater systems from start to finish, including commissioning/start-upCommunicate clearly and professionally with homeowners throughout the projectManage project timelines and scope to ensure jobs stay on trackMaintain organization of tools, materials, and job sitesComplete all required installation paperwork accuratelyEducate homeowners on system operation after installationMaintain a clean, professional appearance and job siteAssist in training and developing install helpersRequired Qualifications1+ years of HVAC lead installer experienceStrong knowledge of HVAC systems including AC, refrigeration, and heating principlesEPA CertificationUnderstanding of HVAC industry best practices and building codesValid driver's license with insurable driving recordAbility to lift 50+ lbsPreferred QualificationsJourneyman-level install experienceNATE CertificationReady to Take the Next Step?If you're someone who takes pride in your installs, wants steady work, and is looking to grow with a company that values quality and people-you'll do well here.Apply today and build your future with Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning.
