Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift
Location: Franklin, IN

Pay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience + shift differential

First Call Direct Hire is hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for an automotive manufacturing facility in Franklin, IN. We are seeking hands-on maintenance technicians with experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, CNC equipment, PLCs, robotics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Available Shifts
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Sunday thru Thursday
All technicians will train on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for approximately one month before moving to their assigned 3rd shift.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production machinery and automated equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Troubleshoot CNC equipment, PLC-controlled machinery, and automation systems
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and maintenance projects
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and plant safety procedures
- Maintain maintenance records and assist with spare-parts inventory
- Maintain work areas according to 5S standards
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience maintaining and repairing industrial production machinery
- Experience with CNC machinery and automated equipment preferred
- Working knowledge of PLCs and PLC ladder logic
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Robotics and automation experience is a plus
- OMRON PLC experience is a plus
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
