Location: Odessa, Texas
Position Overview
- A leading industrial services organization is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Industrial Electrician to join its team.
- This role is responsible for advanced electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance across industrial facilities and equipment.
- The ideal candidate is a licensed Master Electrician with strong industrial experience, exceptional problemsolving abilities, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities but not limited too:
- Industrial Electrical Installation — Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, panels, motors, and controls.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics — Identify electrical issues, perform rootcause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Equipment Maintenance — Maintain and service electrical components on pumps, motors, PLCs, compressors, and heavy industrial machinery.
- Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation — Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
- Install and troubleshoot VFDs, switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
- Lead electrical projects, mentor junior electricians, and coordinate with supervisors and project managers.
- Perform testing, calibration, and verification of electrical systems and components.
Qualifications
Licensure: Valid Texas Master Electrician License required.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years industrial electrical experience; oilfield or heavy industrial background preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and industrial electrical standards
- Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and highvoltage systems
- Skilled in conduit bending, terminations, and panel building
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in industrial environments.
Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work with crossfunctional teams.
Safety: Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and hazard awareness.
